Praise for 'I Am' projects

“smiles, peeling nail polish, talents, braces, laughter and the hopes, dreams and memories…”

“The ‘I Am’ project for my three kids will always be a cherished part of their “tween” years. Stacie is brilliant at capturing their smiles, peeling nail polish, talents, braces, laughter and the hopes, dreams and memories of those who love them. The photo shoot was comfortable, flexible and easy to fit into our busy lives. It’s not easy to get 11-year olds and a 14-year old to embrace the camera, but Stacie makes it natural. She also didn’t hesitate to add pictures of my twin girls together, capturing their unique relationship. So grateful we did this!” -Jennie Preece

charming and insightful photos of my typically shy and introverted daughter.”

“Stacie’s work is meticulous, stunning, and full of heart. She is also kind and friendly, which equates to working well with her clients. She took so many charming and insightful photos of my typically shy and introverted daughter and visually brought out her personality. In this project, Stacie elicited input from my daughter’s teachers and family members as well as took beautiful photos of my daughter. She then took the gathered information and her photos and compiled them into an amazing slide show and album. I may have cried a little bit. Basically, Stacie got my baby to smile a genuine smile. And then she photographed it. And it’s the most beautiful thing to me. So, yeah. Highly recommend.” -Katy Ross

"...a stunning insight into my own child."

"I met Stacie at a time when my 11 year old was struggling to fit in – heading into year 6, she was navigating school leadership and friendship issues, medical issues, and just wasn’t comfortable in her own skin. Stacie helped her explore her own thoughts on herself, and who she is right down deep, and allowed her free and fierce spirit to shine through in their photo shoot. The resulting photos are a stunning insight into my own child. The shots see straight into her heart and hopes, and the way that Stacie has paired them to family and friends’ thoughts about Rosie and her character are extraordinary. The book is already becoming well-thumbed, and is now a prized possession for the entire family. Thank you Stacie – the I Am project is beautiful!" -Fiona
