Couch 2

  • by

Since it has been winter forever in Denver, the couch has been a popular spot in our house. Also, I’ve been spending lots of time on the couch too (broken foot). Although no one is photographing me. I thought maybe you all might enjoy a few posts with images from the couch

Sick 1

  • by

For most of the first half of this year Ezra was sick. He stayed home about 30 days within a 3 month period. He is feeling much better now. I hope I discovered the offending food which was causing his illness. His doctor said he must be getting gluten in his diet consistently. I think it was the rice flour I bought that wasn’t certified gluten free. Cross contamination was never an issue with him before. But since he’s been off of wheat for nearly 3 years, his sensitivity is heightened. I think (and hope) the flour is what was causing the illness. Now he still does feel sick, here and there. But I am able to give him a pro-biotic or two and he seems to be able to function.
In March, Ezra was home sick probably the most. It didn’t help that the stomach flu was being passed around our house. He never did loose his cookies. March was the month I decided to document this time in his life. Here are a few images of my boy… sick.

My Girl is 11

I cannot believe it was 11 years ago that she came into our life. I keep trying to imagine her as a baby and little girl. It is so fun to see the photos I took from her toddler days. I always wondered who this little one will become. This questions is being answered every day. Today she loves art and science, riding her bike and reading books. I hope to help her find her passion. Something for her to do that will make her happiest. I cannot wait to learn more about my girl.

This is the invitation to her party coming up. We will make masks and have a photobooth for the girls to play in front of the camera.

On the Couch

I think this might become an ongoing theme. “On the Couch”. Between Ezra being sick most days to everyone loving video games and tv, this is a theme in our home I can explore throughout the year. Hopefully they won’t all be “sick” images. The way it’s looking these days, many will be. My poor, sick boy.

I’ll start this theme off with some fun ones… not sick at all:

Mustache Monday

  • by

This guy has all sorts of ideas. He had his wardrobe set… mostly black. He loves any sort of kid tattoo… mustache included. He wanted the really long one today. These are designed for fingers, but fit nicely on his little face and complilment his natural little fu manchu.
