Since I am typically around my kids all day, I get a bit of a shock when I’m actually socializing with adults. Every once in awhile I’ll get to hang with real people; face to face. In my mind’s eye I’m too loud and inappropriate. Like this:

your ability to play with interpretations of yourself strike me as witty & lighthearted on the surface but where you look deeper, the emotions one might feel speak to those areas of anxiety and insecurity. what hits me more than anything though is the ease with which the irony is presented. in short, at a glance this picture is silly, comical, easy, funny; but when you look deeper and examine this within yourself…therein lies the punch.
