Where have the Smith’s been? Here, there and wishing we were anywhere but home.
A couple months ago our sewer line backed up and now we need new floors. (Be careful what is flushed down the toilet!) We have been living with a half torn up floor for about a month and this week the rest has been torn out. We are currently without a kitchen. But I have the use of the computer; which keeps getting unplugged and moved so I’ve lost the habit of being on it.
So if you have been wondering what has been going on over here, that about sums it up. Here are some photos of what our house looked like earlier today. It is now much, much worse.
If you want the full effect, come and visit. It’s crazy.
Stacie that sounds terrible and you’ve had to do it with three kids. Kids can make some situations much harder. Hey we have a family reunion in the mid-west this summer. Jay & I have been talking about spending a day in Denver between the two family reunions. We’ve got to drop a scooter off to be worked on, but mainly we just want to hang out with your family. We’ll figure out the details and give you an email.
Oh Stacie. Oh my. I’m sorry and I wish we could meet you at the tot lot for some gabtime! Sending quick reflooring and peaceful thoughts your way. Does that make sense?
Oh Stacie, that SUCKS. I’m so sorry. Reminds me of when Ella was born in the middle of the kitchen remodel (BAD PLANNING).
Colby had a phone interview for a company in Colorado. How cool would that be?
Wow! Looks like fun!! (Almost as fun as cleaning up the sewer water haha!) It will all be worth it when it is over. Hopefully you only have to do it once – right?
I like the picture of the hardhat and the EZ size crocs (or are those Zed’s?) Anyway, good visual of your current world
