Zed started life at 7:27am looking very blue. We were a bit worried until the nurse said all Denver babies come out like grapes. She said it’s totally normal at this high altitude.
He was 7lbs. 9oz. and 20 inches long. A good sized kid, but our smallest. They say that babies in utero don’t get as big at high altitude as they do at sea level.
There he is. Zedekiah. Zed for short. His name the topic of many songs in our home.

wow what a gorgeous little boy. love his name and his looks. so newborn, they are the most pretty right then! o stacie, you are great, love to hear more some time later, get some good rest and enjoy the little boy.

Wow he is so beautiful and I don’t think he looks blue. That is crazy how the altitude can effect so many things in a pregnancy though.

Stacie he is absolutely beautiful. What a gorgeous newborn. He must be part of your family! And while we don’t have plans to be in Maryland any specific time, we go every few weeks it seems, so we can definitely arrange to be there when you are. Especially if it means seeing this sweet boy.
